Weekly Update

Guys , I'm blogging from the birthplace of the mother of all silicon valley companies itself ,Mountain View! So I'm blogging to tell you guys a couple of things, first as most of you may know Apple announced a new programming language called Swift which is optimised for developing app store apps which will supposedly co exist with Objective C().

Secondly, Illumina, a name which few consumers have heard is going to kindle a market which will bring revenue in the billions. After outlasting its competitors and building the necessary technology it has brought down the cost of sequencing 3 billion pairs of human genome from 93.7  million USD to just over 5 grand. It has already started selling machines which sequence the human genome for a $1000. An MIT tech magazine rates it as the smartest company on planet earth (with Tesla Motors at 2nd place and Google holding third).

Thirdly, google is going to roll out Android Kitkat 4.4.3 for Nexus devices in the near future,
No news of the Nexus 6 yet, we are hoping for a release in the fourth or first quarter of next year.

Lastly Samsung has released a 12 inch tablet in korea, called the Samsung Galaxy W with calling features (I think) and at Hong Kong I saw a couple of ads for a Galaxy Note Pro.
