HTC One M8

So the HTC One M8 came out about 2 months back and since then its definitely been a huge success. The earlier HTC One was the best looking phone of 2013. There are a few major differences between the One and the One M8. It has a larger display. The sharpness and brightness is like its earlier model. It has on screen buttons. Next the M8 is taller than than the HTC One. It's greater in height. Another major difference is that it is more rounded- around the back and the corner. The edges aren't as sharp as it was. o those were the differences. Next, HTC's camera. It uses a duo camera system. It allows you to refocuses a picture after it is taken. You can blur out the parts that you don't want and focus on the parts that you want, after you've taken the picture. It's called duo camera API. The camera is a 4MP camera. So this phone is made of 90% metal. The power button has been moved from the left to the right side this time. Since it is taller it may be a bit difficult to turn your phone on and off. The head phone jack is at the bottom of the phone. You insert a sim through a slot at the left side of your phone. On the right hand side you can insert a memory card of up to 128 GB!! That was one amazing feature as you could store movies or songs on the phone. The interface of the phone is very quick. While flipping through your applications the phone responds in less than 0.01 seconds. The design and look is excellent. Its like an adjustment to stock android. One other good change HTC has made to their phone is changing the colour of the notifications bar according to the app or homescreen. They did it to match the colour of the app. Every HTC app has its own notifications bar colour. The speakers now. Now again. It is excellent again. It makes every other phone's speakers sound terrible. The only downside to the speakers is that it adds on to the tallness. But HTC has got some ways to overcome the height of the phone and reaching up to the power button. You can double tap on the screen to turn it on. You can also swipe down to turn it on. Swiping left takes you to your home screen while swiping right takes you to your blinkfeed. Swiping up will take you to where ever you were last. The battery life is great. It can go a whole weekend. It doesn't burn down battery quickly. The auto brightness is good. Unlike most other phones, it knows when to turn the brightness up and down! It has a new ultra power saving mode. Okay so something interesting now. HTC has created a dot view cover that takes advantages of the different ways in which you can turn on the mobile without having to reach for th power button. It lets you interact with the mobile without having to open the case! Calls can be accepted and rejected by swiping the cover. The retro custom display allows you to see elements of the homescreen through the dots of the cover. So for its main features are-
It has a Snapdragon 801 Quadcore processor
It has a 2GB of RAM
Runs on Android Kitkat 4.4
5" 1080p display

Tips: Buy it! It is quietly brilliant!
