All about technology: The Samsung Galaxy S5

So, the galaxy S5 was something that the world was waiting for, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Most people were hoping for another out of the box doing from Samsung but sadly, the features are more or less the same as S4. The screen increased from 5" to 5.1". Not much of a great deal though. I am not really a fan of the golden coloured one. I was going through Samsung's website and i saw that on the page the golden S5 wasn't there. Are they ashamed of it or something? My favourite would most probably be the black(as always). So lets start of with some of the great features. The new S5 has a heart rate sensor! Below the camera lens there is a monitoring device. You place your finger there and it measures your heart rate. This is particularly useful. Especially for food scientists! People do say that the heart rate monitor is unreliable but I'd disagree. The next feature would be the Ultra Power Saving Mode. It uses a 2800 mAH battery. The Ultra power saving mode turns everything black and white to save battery life.If you've read my earlier google glass post, you'd know how terrible low battery can get on awsome devices. Well phone's are actually more important as they're used for work while wearing glass to work.............Doesn't really work out, does it? So next excellent feature is that it is dust proof and water resistant. This can be helpful as i have heard cases where people have dropped there phones into a swimming pool or in their wet basins. One thing people find annoying is that the USB port is covered up to make it water resistant. The next feature would be the finger print reader. I know that people who are for apple would say that Samsung copied this as this was already on the iphone 5s, but when tested, the iphone's fingerprint sensor was inaccurate. On the S5u do get a range of features with the fingerprint touch. Before paying any item using your phone you can get in the fingerprint option for more security. Now, one of the greatest features on the S5-Its camera! It features a 16MP rear shooter and a 2 MP front shooting camera. Its can take videos in UHD! 3840*2160!!That's how big it can get. It also has image stabalization whch, yet again is a great feature! It has fast auto focus, Real time HDR and selective focus(now what do you say to that apple users?). There are some bad features though. It's very expensive. £579!! I, personally don't like the Galaxy S5 design. To think abput the fact that it's made of plastic is also a bit weird.(don't forget the pollution factor). Well one last good thing! It has a band along with it that is very useful.
